Overview

IdealPhotonics' spatial light modulator is a two-dimensional optical device that dynamically controls the amplitude, phase, or polarization spatial distribution of a light field using electrical signals (voltage/light intensity). Its core function is to convert input information (such as computer images) into corresponding optical wavefront modulation.Based on an electrically controlled pixel array, it achieves real-time, high-precision dynamic control of the light field wavefront (amplitude/phase/polarization), combining high resolution, programmability, and multi-wavelength compatibility, providing modern optical systems with flexible light field manipulation capabilities.

High-Speed, High-Power Spatial Light Modulator

The high-speed and high-power spatial light modulator mainly adopts reflective LCoS technology, which achieves high power tolerance through high damage threshold coating and efficient thermal management. It relies on fast response liquid crystal and high frame rate drive to achieve high-speed modulation, and is divided into phase type, amplitude type, and hybrid type according to function.
