Overview
IdealPhotonics' achromatic depolarizer is an optical element that converts arbitrary input polarized light into unpolarized light (i.e., complete depolarization) over a wide spectral range (e.g., 400-1600 nm) through a composite retardation structure or anisotropic scattering.By using a composite retardation structure or dispersion compensation design, it efficiently converts arbitrary polarized input light into unpolarized light (DOP < 5%) over a wide spectral range (e.g., ultraviolet-infrared), while maintaining high transmittance and low wavefront distortion.
