Overview
IdealPhotonics' 900-1200nm VCSEL diodes achieve long-wavelength emission through special material design. While their efficiency and cost are slightly lower than 850nm devices, they are irreplaceable in specific fields such as LiDAR and medical applications, serving as a key light source for near-infrared to short-wave infrared applications.Utilizing a GaAs/InP dual-material system to achieve near-infrared to short-wave infrared emission, they combine the advantages of eye safety (1064-1200nm) with compatibility with silicon/InGaAs detectors. They demonstrate irreplaceable wavelength specificity and system integration advantages in special application scenarios such as LiDAR (905/1064nm), medical (980nm), and gas sensing (1176nm).
