Overview
IdealPhotonics' InAs indium arsenide amplified detector is a narrow-bandgap device designed for the mid-infrared (1-3.8 μm) molecular fingerprint region. It achieves ultra-low dark current through deep cooling (77 K), making it suitable for gas composition analysis and military infrared guidance.It boasts ultra-high detectivity (>10¹¹ Jones) in the 3 μm band, but relies on liquid nitrogen cooling (77 K) to suppress intrinsic noise.
