Idealphotonics' has launched a dysprosium-doped fiber ASE light source, a broadband light source based on the principle of spontaneous emission amplification (ASE) in dysprosium-doped fiber. Its output spectrum covers 1300-1500 nm (O/E band), making it suitable for specialized communication and sensing applications.It outputs a 1300-1500 nm broadband spectrum (bandwidth > 80 nm), filling the wavelength gap in traditional EDFAs, and is suitable for specialized communication and distributed sensing.
