Overview
IdealPhotonics' FiberPort mount is a standardized mechanical interface for quickly positioning and securing FiberPort collimators/couplers. It achieves automatic optical axis alignment (angular deviation <0.5°) via precision slots (such as SM05/SM1 threads) and a pre-leveling base, making it suitable for scenarios requiring high-frequency optical module replacement, such as quantum optics experiments and laser system integration."Second-level optical path switching" is achieved through a pre-calibrated threaded interface (such as SM05/SM1) and an anti-offset slot design, enabling sub-micron-level repeatability of the FiberPort collimator (displacement error ≤2μm). This ensures insertion loss fluctuation <0.1dB after optical module replacement, providing a hardware foundation for systems requiring rapid multi-optical path reconfiguration, such as quantum communication and lidar.'
