Overview
IdealPhotonics' X-ray source is a device that generates electromagnetic radiation with wavelengths of 0.01–10 nm through the interaction of high-speed electrons bombarding a target (such as tungsten or molybdenum) or laser plasma. Based on the principle of bremsstrahlung emission or characteristic X-ray emission, it is widely used in medical imaging, industrial flaw detection, materials analysis, and scientific experiments.Short-wavelength X-rays (hard X-rays >10 keV or soft X-rays <1 keV) are generated through high-energy electron-target collisions (or laser plasma). These X-rays possess both strong penetrating power (centimeter-level metal) and atomic-level resolution, but require a high-voltage power supply (kV–MV) and radiation protection. They are core radiation devices in medical CT, crystal inspection, and security inspection systems.
