IdealPhotonics' newly launched birefringence imaging system is an imaging technique that utilizes optically anisotropic materials (such as calcite, liquid crystals, or stress-birefringent devices) to modulate the polarization state and phase difference of incident light, thereby extracting or enhancing sample structural information (such as stress distribution and molecular orientation).By leveraging the interaction between polarized light and anisotropic samples, and through high-precision phase delay detection (sub-nanometer level) and polarization state resolution, it achieves label-free, non-contact visualization of internal structures (such as stress and molecular orientation), combining high contrast with multi-dimensional information extraction capabilities.
