Fiber ASE broadband light source belongs to incoherent light source, which is the spontaneous emission generated by semiconductor laser pumped erbium-doped quartz fiber. At the same time, spectral flattening technology is introduced to achieve broadband flattening spectrum. The light source wavelength covers the L-band, with a spectral flatness of better than 3dB. It is output through single-mode fiber or polarization maintaining fiber and is suitable for applications such as fiber optic sensing.

ASE light source is a white light source that has very high brightness over a very wide spectral range. The C-band ASE wide spectral range light source module is an amplified spontaneous emission (ASE) light source used in distributed fiber Bragg grating sensing systems, optical passive device testing, and spectral analysis design. Based on the basic principle of semiconductor laser pumped rare earth doped fiber (Er ion) to generate C-band (1528-1563nm) amplified spontaneous emission (ASE), a specially designed C-band spectral gain flattening filter (GFF) structure enables the product to have high optical to optical conversion efficiency and excellent C-band spectral flatness. At the same time, to ensure the strict requirements of the distributed fiber Bragg grating system for the stability of the light source output, global optical feedback control technology and pulse width modulation (PWM) precision temperature control technology are adopted internally to ensure high output optical power stability and spectral waveform stability.

The C-band gain flattened fiber ASE broadband light source module adds gain flattening technology to the ordinary broadband light source and optimizes the light source structure. The output spectral flatness reaches 2dB, while having high output power and miniaturized external dimensions. Fiber ASE broadband light source belongs to incoherent light source, which is the spontaneous emission generated by semiconductor laser pumped erbium-doped quartz fiber. At the same time, spectral flattening technology is introduced to achieve broadband flattening spectrum. The wavelength of the light source covers the traditional C-band (1529.16nm~1560.61nm, frequency 195.9THz~191.6THz), with spectral flatness better than 2dB.
