Overview
Idealphotonics' 870-900nm VCSEL diodes are vertical-cavity surface-emitting lasers based on GaAs/AlGaAs material systems. Operating in the near-infrared band, they feature high efficiency (30-50%), medium power (10-50mW), and good thermal stability. Primarily used in industrial sensing, medical devices, and specific communication applications, they represent a transitional wavelength solution between traditional 850nm and long-wavelength VCSELs.Utilizing an optimized AlGaAs quantum well structure to achieve near-infrared emission, they combine high electro-optical efficiency (30-50%), excellent thermal stability, and a medium power output of 10-50mW.
