Its structure resembles that of a Fabry-Perot laser diode, but through specialized designs such as anti-reflection coatings and tilted waveguides, the end-face reflectivity is reduced to below 0.001%, thereby avoiding self-oscillation and ensuring stable operation in the amplification state.
