Solid-state laser

Overview

IdealPhotonics' solid-state laser utilizes stimulated emission in a solid gain medium to generate laser light. When external energy (such as optical or electrical pumping) excites active ions (such as Nd³⁺, Yb³⁺, Er³⁺, etc.) in the gain medium, the ions undergo energy level transitions, and coherent laser output is formed under the feedback of the optical resonant cavity (composed of mirrors).The high stability, high power/energy output capability, excellent beam quality, and wavelength flexibility achieved through frequency conversion technology of the solid-state gain medium make it a mainstay of laser technology, despite thermal management challenges.
