Overview
IdealPhotonics' mid-infrared tunable laser is a laser system with precisely tunable wavelengths ranging from 2 to 20 μm. It achieves multi-molecule characteristic spectral coverage through current/temperature tuning (such as QCL) or nonlinear optical conversion (such as OPO), combining a wide tuning range with high spectral resolution. It is specifically designed for applications such as gas detection, spectral analysis, and infrared countermeasures.Through current/temperature tuning or nonlinear optics, it achieves high-precision continuous wavelength scanning (resolution up to 0.1 cm⁻¹) in the 2–20 μm molecular fingerprint region, combining wide spectral coverage, rapid switching (μs-level), and strong characteristic absorption matching capabilities, making it the ultimate spectroscopic tool for gas detection, medical diagnostics, and defense infrared applications.
