IdealPhotonics' newly launched CMOS monochrome camera is polarization-sensitive, an optical sensor that integrates polarization detection functionality with a monochrome CMOS imaging chip. Its core function is to simultaneously capture the light intensity and polarization state information of a scene through a pixel-level polarization filter array (such as 0°, 45°, 90°, and 135° linear polarizers), outputting a high-contrast polarization image and Stokes parameters (SOP/DOP).By fusing a pixel-level polarization filter array with a high-sensitivity monochrome chip, real-time synchronous imaging of Stokes parameters is achieved, combining high dynamic range with low-light detection capabilities.
