Overview
IdealPhotonics' fast-switching filter wheel is a multi-channel optical switching device driven by a high-speed motor (such as a voice coil/servo motor). Through optimized mechanical structure (such as ratchet positioning), it achieves millisecond-level filter switching (e.g., 10ms) and micro-radian-level repeatability (±0.002°), making it suitable for dynamic optical path systems with stringent timing accuracy requirements, such as ultrafast spectral imaging and live-cell observation. It features ultra-high switching speed (breaking through the limitations of traditional stepper motors), zero-jitter locking, and active heat dissipation design. It also incorporates closed-loop feedback from an optical encoder and resistance to high-power lasers (>5W/cm²), meeting the microsecond-level experimental timing control requirements.
