Overview
IdealPhotonics' optical isolator, an infrared free-space optical device specifically designed for the infrared band (2.5μm-14μm), is a non-reciprocal optical device. Through magneto-optical effects (such as specific infrared magneto-optical crystals) or polarization-selective structures, it achieves unidirectional transmission of infrared light (low-loss passage in the forward direction, high-attenuation blocking in the reverse direction), effectively protecting infrared laser sources from back-reflected light interference or damage.By using infrared-optimized magneto-optical materials (such as Fe:ZnSe) and a heat-damage-resistant design, it achieves high-isolation (>30dB) unidirectional transmission in the mid-to-far infrared band (2.5-14μm), combining 100-watt power tolerance, free-space plug-in compatibility, and stability in harsh environments, becoming an "optical firewall" for high-energy infrared laser systems.
