Overview
IdealPhotonics' thermal position detector is a sensor that detects the spatial distribution of a light spot using a two-dimensional thermal array, locating the center coordinates of the spot by utilizing changes in the resistance of the thermal material. Designed for the mid-to-far infrared band (such as 10.6μm CO₂ laser), it is suitable for high-precision displacement measurement in laser alignment and industrial automation.It features a two-dimensional position resolution of ±1μm, compatible with long-wavelength applications such as CO₂ laser (10.6μm), but requires active heat dissipation design.
