Overview
IdealPhotonics' InAs indium arsenide bias detector is a high-sensitivity photodetector for the mid-infrared (3-3.8μm) region that requires deep cooling (77K). It enhances carrier separation efficiency by applying a reverse bias voltage (1-10V) and is specifically designed for high-precision gas analysis and thermal radiation detection in the molecular fingerprint region.It achieves extreme sensitivity detection (detectivity >10¹¹ Jones) in the 3-3.8μm molecular fingerprint region. Through 77K deep cooling, it achieves pA-level dark current and nanosecond-level response, but relies on precise bias voltage control (1-10V) to suppress tunneling noise, making it a benchmark detector for mid-infrared gas analysis.
