Idealphotonics' has launched a piezoelectric inertial drive displacement stage, compatible with vacuum. This device utilizes the inertial impact principle of piezoelectric ceramics to achieve step-like nanometer positioning. Its vacuum-compatible version, through a lubrication-free and sealed design, can operate stably in vacuum environments as low as 10^-6 mbar.The dry drive mechanism, with no heat generation and no gas leakage, achieves a unified millimeter-level stroke and nanometer-level positioning in a vacuum environment through a clever design of piezoelectric actuators and friction coupling.
