Overview
Idealphotonics' 1360-1550nm FP diodes are fast recovery diodes manufactured using epitaxial technology. They feature short reverse recovery times, fast switching speeds, and low power consumption, making them widely used in high-frequency switching circuits and power management.The reverse recovery time is typically in the range of tens to hundreds of nanoseconds (ns), much faster than ordinary rectifier diodes, making them suitable for high-frequency applications.

The  high-power FP laser is purpose-built for high-order Raman amplifiers. It adopts a 14-pin butterfly package, and is integrated with a photodiode (PD) and a thermoelectric cooler (TEC).

1480nm FP laser diode

The 1480nm laser is designed for optical amplifier systems, such as fiber Raman amplifiers used in optical transmission systems, and can also be used in DWDM systems. The laser diode chip is packaged in an industry-standard 14-pin butterfly package, with built-in TEC, thermistor, and PIN photodiode. A dual-lens system efficiently couples the circular beam from the laser chip into the optical fiber, achieving an output power of up to 320mW.
