100G bandwidth 1545-1555nm 10nm tunable filter (3dB bandwidth 0.8nm)
The core component of a filter is a fiber Bragg grating with a periodic change in refractive index. When a broad-spectrum beam of light is propagated to a fiber Bragg grating, each small section of the fiber after the refractive index is changed will only reflect a specific wavelength of light, which is called the Bragg wavelength, while other wavelengths of light will be propagated. The change in strain will simultaneously affect the effective refractive index and grating period of the fiber Bragg grating, thus changing the wavelength of the reflected light wave from the grating. In this device, the Bragg wavelength can be tuned by simply stretching the grating with a fine threaded screw to achieve wavelength tuning.

In fiber optic telecommunications systems, dispersion effects must be corrected for data rates of 10Gb/s or higher. Applying its expertise in fiber Bragg gratings, we offer a dispersion compensated grating filter model OEDCG-100 to correct dispersion. Dispersion compensated grating filters have the characteristics of small size, low insertion loss, and customized dispersion slope. Our unique fiber Bragg grating apodization technology enables us to manufacture dispersion compensated grating filters with high isolation, low sidelobes, and low ripple. The following figure shows the reflection spectrum of our dispersion compensated grating filter. All fiber Bragg gratings are tested to ensure they meet the highest quality standards. Single mode 60nm wavelength tunable filter 1064/1310/1550/2000nm
High speed tunable bandpass filter. As a dual port optical module, the input port receives broadband multi wavelength light and only receives a small portion of the incident signal that is allowed to pass through the filter and be guided to the output port. The center wavelength of the selected band can be tuned to any position within the operating wavelength range. Our design is flexible, with customizable transmission bandwidth and wavelength tuning range. This voltage controlled filter does not require moving parts, has fast tuning speed, and is small in size. Our filter is used as a suppression filter to improve the laser signal-to-noise ratio in the wavelength scanning engine optical system of an optical spectrometer (OSA), as well as in the system diagnostic communication system.
