Overview
IdealPhotonics' dispersion compensation grating is a dispersion control device based on chirped or sampled fiber grating design. Through specific periodic structures (such as linear chirp and phase shift), it generates a dispersion (-100~-2000 ps/(nm·km)) opposite to that of the transmission fiber, compensating for pulse broadening caused by dispersion in high-speed optical communication systems (compensation distance > 100km), significantly improving the transmission performance of 10G/100G systems. The "trillionth-second dispersion scalpel," through high-precision asymptotic periodic design (ΔΛ control up to 0.01nm/cm), achieves ultra-large negative dispersion (-3000 ps/(nm·km)) and low insertion loss (<3dB), accurately canceling the dispersion effect of single-mode fiber (compensation accuracy ±5%), reducing the bit error rate of 100Gbps ultra-long-distance (>2000km) transmission systems by more than 10 times.
