Overview
IdealPhotonics' new CMOS miniature microscope camera, with 5 megapixels and polarization sensitivity, is a compact imaging device integrating polarization resolution. Through a built-in polarizer array (e.g., 0°, 45°, 90°, 135° directions) or a beam splitter, it achieves quantitative detection of sample polarization characteristics (birefringence, dichroism, etc.), suitable for microscopic scenarios requiring enhanced polarization contrast, such as materials science and bio-fiber research.Parameters including the number of polarization resolution directions (e.g., 4 directions), polarization extinction ratio (≥100:1), sensor quantum efficiency (QE@polarized light), frame rate (20-50fps), and pixel size (2.4-3.45µm) directly determine its detection accuracy and imaging efficiency for sample anisotropy characteristics.
