QCL Laser Diode
The 3.8-6.0um QCL diode launched by IdealPhoton is a mid-infrared semiconductor laser light source based on the sub-band transition principle. It adopts InGaAs/InAlAs or InGaAs/AlGaAsSb multi-quantum well cascade structure to achieve high-efficiency photon emission through electron reuse. It can be used in gas molecular fingerprint identification (such as CO₂ 4.3μm, CH₄ 3.3μm), industrial process monitoring and medical diagnosis and other trace detection fields have irreplaceable advantages of spectral specificity.Realize electron reuse based on quantum cascade effect, using InGaAs/InAlAs or GaAs-based strained superlattice structure, in the mid-infrared "molecular fingerprint" region (such as CO₂ 4.3μm, CH₄ 3.3μm) exhibits milliwatt-level continuous output and ultra-narrow linewidth spectral characteristics of 0.01cm⁻¹. Its single-chip multi-cascade structure (typically 30-50 levels) has breakthrough advantages over traditional lasers in gas detection sensitivity (ppb level) and electro-optical conversion efficiency (up to 15%). It is an irreplaceable light source solution in the fields of industrial process monitoring, environmental monitoring and medical diagnosis.
