485 nm Narrow Bandpass Optical Filter
The MP-NBP-485 is a narrow-bandpass filter with a centre wavelength around 485 nm. It is designed to efficiently select the target spectral range of 475-495 nm from broadband or multi-wavelength sources, while providing high rejection of ultraviolet, visible, and near-infrared light outside the passband. The filter offers an average transmission Tavg > 93 % over the 475-495 nm transmission band, with a typical FWHM bandwidth of 24.9 nm and a guaranteed minimum bandwidth of 20 nm. It provides deep blocking with ODavg > 5 over most out-of-band regions, and reaches ODavg > 10 in the designated 510–556 nm rejection zone. This product is particularly suitable for fluorescence detection systems using 5‑FAM (5‑carboxyfluorescein), SYBR Green I nucleic acid gel stain‑DNA, as well as for biomedical testing, fluorescence imaging, spectroscopic analysis, and other optical systems requiring wavelength selection around 485 nm.
