High-Brightness or Dual-Modulation Beam-Scanning PCSEL diode

The photonic crystal surface-emitting laser (PCSEL) is a new generation of high-power semiconductor lasers that utilize two-dimensional grating structures to scatter light linearly and orthogonally. This enables PCSEL to be the only laser with feedback confined within the plane while light emission occurs out of the plane, emanating from the top surface of the laser. It boasts advantages such as single-mode operation, extremely low divergence angle, high power output, and superior beam quality. Currently, it holds significant application prospects in fields like LiDAR, space communications, sensing, and laser processing.
