As a laser frequency reference, the LFR-1532 employs an acetylene absorption spectroscopy system to achieve exceptionally precise frequency stability, making it ideal for calibrating our wavelength meters in the infrared wavelength range.

    Automatic Calibration

    The wavelength meter can be automatically recalibrated at user-defined intervals, ranging from several weeks to the time between individual measurements. This automatic process requires no user intervention and takes less than one second before returning to measurement. When used with the PID option, laser runaway is prevented.

     

    External Calibration Source

    Idealphotonics offers various frequency-stabilized narrow-linewidth laser sources for different applications, with absolute accuracy down to ±0.5 MHz. They are ideal for fast and accurate calibration of our entire range of HighFinesse wavelength meters.

     

    Integrated Calibration Source

    Standard wavelength meters with absolute accuracy up to 60 MHz feature automatic calibration via an integrated calibration source. In this way, our wavelength meters can guarantee the highest measurement accuracy and stability.
