Overview
Idealphotonics' 532 nm solid-state lasers are laser systems that generate 532 nm green output through a solid gain medium (such as Nd:YVO₄ or Nd:YAG crystals) combined with nonlinear frequency conversion (frequency doubling technology). The core principle is to convert infrared laser light (1064 nm) into visible green light via second harmonic generation (SHG), combining the high efficiency and stability of solid-state lasers with the advantages of visible-wavelength applications.Based on Nd³⁺-doped crystals (such as Nd:YVO₄), the 1064 nm infrared laser is efficiently frequency-doubled using KTP/LBO crystals to produce highly stable 532 nm green light. It features excellent beam quality (M² < 1.1), multiple operating modes (continuous or pulsed), and the advantages of the visible spectrum, making it an ideal light source for industrial marking, biomedical applications, and scientific instrumentation.
