Coherent applies its unique manufacturing facilities and capabilities to this product field and establishes excellent optical, mechanical, and geometric tolerances. Our fiber optic bend insensitive version provides low bending loss and extinction ratio at smaller bending diameters, allowing our customers to reduce packaging size. Coherent's PM fibers can provide coating diameters of 250 or 400 microns and have undergone testing at 200 kpsi, meeting the needs of all current and future applications.
