100 GHz balanced photodetector module

The high-speed balanced photodetector module is of great significance for the development of the next generation of coherent optical communication links in telecommunications. Due to the excellent symbol rate in these research and development stages, optoelectronic detector modules with advanced RF bandwidth are required at the receiving end. Combined with a 90 ° optical hybrid, the balanced photodetector provides the functionality of a coherent receiver for detecting dual polarized high-order QAM signals. The high-speed balanced photodetector module can be used for telecommunications applications with>1T/bs coherence. The photodetector chips inside the module are based on mature InP technology and manufactured on HHI's wafer production line, providing qualified processes for Telcordia and space. The chip is packaged at HHI factory
