1560nm PPLN waveguide doubling module
Optical frequency doubling has a wide range of applications in laser technology. It can convert infrared laser into visible laser, or convert visible laser into shorter wavelength laser, thereby expanding the coverage range of laser spectral lines. To obtain lasers with shorter wavelengths, multi-stage frequency doubling technology can be used. At present, there are many types of frequency doubling crystals that can achieve considerable frequency doubling conversion efficiency. The nonlinear crystal of Xiaoxiao Photon can achieve nonlinear processes such as sum frequency, difference frequency, and frequency doubling. Taking the 1560nm PPLN frequency doubling crystal as an example, the principle and performance of this product will be introduced. This crystal utilizes second-order nonlinear effects to convert 1560nm light into 780nm light output, achieving optical second harmonic generation. Optical second harmonic, also known as optical second harmonic, refers to the phenomenon where a monochromatic light with a frequency of ω 1 is incident on a nonlinear medium and produces a 2 ω 1 light wave. It is a manifestation of the second-order nonlinear polarization generated by the medium under the action of the fundamental frequency light wave electric field. In addition, the crystal is a waveguide structure with high frequency doubling efficiency. The input and input ends of the waveguide are coupled with polarization maintaining jumpers corresponding to the wavelength band, making it convenient for users to use directly without manual coupling.
